We collect the following information when you use FCD:
- Google OAuth profile data: When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture.
- Submitted listings: Information you provide when submitting a listing to the directory (name, URL, description, logos, screenshots).
- Usage data: We use Google Analytics to collect anonymous usage statistics such as page views and referral sources.
- Newsletter subscriptions: If you subscribe to our newsletter, we store your email address and optional name.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide and maintain the FCD service.
- Authenticate your identity and manage your account.
- Review and publish listing submissions.
- Send you newsletter digests and category alerts (if you have opted in).
- Process sponsorship and premium listing payments.
- Improve the service based on anonymous usage patterns.
3. Cookies
FCD uses minimal cookies. The only cookies set are those required by Supabase for authentication (session management). We also use Google Analytics, which may set cookies to collect anonymous usage data.
4. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services:
- Supabase: Database hosting and authentication. Your account data is stored securely in Supabase.
- Stripe: Payment processing for sponsorships and premium listings. Stripe handles all payment card data directly and FCD does not store card details.
- Google Analytics: Web analytics for understanding site usage. Google Analytics may collect anonymised data about your visit. See Google's privacy policy for details.
- Google OAuth: Authentication provider. We receive only the profile information you authorise when signing in.
- Resend: Email delivery for newsletters and transactional emails.
5. Data Retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your personal data will be removed within 30 days. Submitted listings may remain in the directory after account deletion, but will no longer be associated with your profile. Newsletter subscriber data is retained until you unsubscribe.

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA) or the United Kingdom, you have the following rights under GDPR:
- Right of access: You can request a copy of all personal data we hold about you.
- Right to rectification: You can request that we correct any inaccurate personal data.
- Right to erasure: You can request that we delete your personal data.
- Right to data portability: You can request your data in a structured, commonly used format.
- Right to object: You can object to processing of your personal data for certain purposes.
